Waverley Software is looking for a tech-savvy specialist in embedded software to onboard a unique IoT project. Requirements:

  • A specialist in C
  • Experience with embedded protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc
  • Linux Kernel experience
  • Working with device trees
  • Linux drivers development
  • CUDA NVIDIA
  • Experience in developing driver and middleware layers for MCU peripherals and external peripheral interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of Bootloaders and device driver development
  • Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11)
  • Knowledge of over-the-air upgrades of firmware and application
  • Knowledge of MQTT, rest API, HTTP (MQTT preferable)
  • Experience with FW integration testing and debugging in pre- and post-silicon.
  • Experience with development for Linux platforms
  • Working knowledge of UNIX, Windows
  • Experiece in data security
  • Health status
  • Experience with Home Automation and Security device development​

Nice to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of best design and coding practices
  • Experience with IoT projects
  • Knowledge of NVIDIA jetson

Responsibilities:

  • Engage as a teammate and work closely with multi-functional teams such as BIOS, SMU, architecture, design and verification on delivery of integrated firmware solutions.
  • Develop low-level firmware for embedded systems.
  • Support pre- and post–silicon as well as production cycle efforts
  • Develop and support full design cycle of embedded firmware solutions including pre-si, post-si and production
