About the Client

As a Presales Business Analyst, you will be responsible for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet functional requirements in support of client needs. This role exists at the intersection of sales and service product development, with a successful candidate having experience driving solution approaches as part of the sales process while both leveraging internal technical capabilities and sourcing market requirements through both customer interaction and product research.
The position requires a combination of technical capabilities with business acumen, interfacing with customer leadership at all levels while representing Waverley Software in a highly professional manner at all times to showcase the value our services deliver. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, fantastic attitude and be comfortable addressing new challenges on a daily basis. Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Outsourcing Industry, serving mid-to-large enterprise customers as well fresh startups
  • 2+ years of managerial experience in Sales, Presales, Project Management/Delivery, Business Analysis functions in an IT Outsourcing company
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and SDLC approaches, general understanding of IT Outsourcing business model
  • General understanding of Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, Design processes and functions
  • Previous experience of presales: leading presale phase or being involved in presales activities for new or existing clients as a consultant
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to perform and manage a number of activities in parallel dealing with high uncertainty which is natural for sales
  • Excellent attention to details, along with the “just right” mix of perfectionism and result-orientation
  • At least Upper-Intermediate English (written and verbal)


  • Collaborate with Sales Team on planning sales strategies for our prospects
  • Engagement with the prospects to elicit requirements, business needs, preferred technology stack, process and/or team composition
  • Work with Delivery Team to develop a solution to satisfy prospect’s business needs and requirements
  • Lead creation of the high-quality solution proposals hat follows company standards and best practices based on the information provided by client and Delivery team
  • Participate and drive discovery projects for complex deals ensuring project-related risks are captured into assumptions and properly covered in project buffers and legal terms
