Foundation & Early Growth
1992 – 2000
Waverley is founded by Matt Brown in Silicon Valley, focusing on early mobile applications. The company quickly grows its client base and builds a strong core team rooted in trust, reliability, and long-term collaboration — many of whom remain with the company today.
Global Expansion & IoT Foundations
2001 – 2010
Waverley expands internationally, opening development centers in Romania and Bulgaria. The company builds deep expertise in embedded systems, networking, and IoT — establishing these as core competencies through work with leading Smart Home and IoT companies.
Scaling Capabilities & Global Presence
2011 – 2020
Waverley accelerates global expansion with new centers in Ukraine and Vietnam, entering Automotive (partnering with Toyota) and Robotics. The company strengthens leadership in QA, Blockchain, Data Science, and cybersecurity while creating the CTO Office.
Enterprise Growth &AI-Driven Future
2021 – Present
Waverley continues to scale globally with new centers in Poland and across Latin America, growing into a distributed team of 300+ specialists across three continents. The company supports enterprise clients with faster team scaling while actively modernizing services and helping clients build products aligned with today's fast-evolving, AI-focused era.
