QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a test automation framework from scratch: architecture and layers, configuration, test data, reusable components, and reporting.
• Validate data end-to-end: API responses vs. database state, and consistency across UI, API, and database.
• Build a risk-based test strategy, including when requirements are incomplete.
• Plan non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability) for a regulated product.
• Review acceptance criteria and challenge them with developers and product owners when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, including 2+ years of hands-on test automation.
• Proven experience building an automation framework.
• Strong coding skills in C# with Playwright or similar tools.
• Solid API test automation beyond status codes: schema and contract validation, headers, negative and boundary cases, error handling.
• Strong SQL skills: writing queries independently to validate data integrity in the database.
• Experience automating data consistency checks across UI, API, and database.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English.
