Waverley News Digest #33 (Jan’21)

This is a periodical journal of the company’s most recent news and events. What’s new at Waverley?

Newcomers, welcome aboard!

Tri Bui – Pre-Sales Business Analyst, Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)

I’m a hard-working individual with eight years of experience in handling projects for customers in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and Europe. For me, the most wonderful thing in IT projects is the moment you see your customers benefiting from what your team has built for them.

Outside of work, I like doing haircuts and cooking for others. If Waverley has some company trips that involve cooking or fun haircuts, I’ll surely sign up!

I look forward to seeing all the Waverley members soon!

Serhii Kiyashko – QA Engineer, Seagate (Kharkiv)

I’m a reliable, kind-hearted, and also goal-oriented person. If there was no need for me to make money, I think, I would travel a lot. To my liking, the best place in the whole world is Barcelona. This year, I have a plan to go on a road trip.

Olesia Makarenko – JavaScript Developer, Freeman USA (Remote/Kyiv)

I’d describe myself as a cheerful and hard-working person and a team-player. If I didn’t have to work to earn money, I would be busy inventing something great! As for my favorite place in the world, I can’t tell for sure, as I haven’t seen everything yet, but it should definitely be something by the sea. This year, jumping with a parachute is on my list.

Anton Nazarenkov – UI Designer (Kharkiv)

I’d say I’m a vivid, responsive, and fanciful personality. If I didn’t need to earn money, I would throw parties all over the world and create clothes. I’m still in search of my favorite place on earth. My plan for this year is to release my own fashion collection.

Yan Derii – JavaScript Engineer, Spirax Sarco (Kharkiv)

The three words that describe me: amazing barbecue master. If there was no need for me to work, I would become the Minister of Culture. My favorite place on earth is Sorrento, Italy. This year, I think I will write a book.

Yaroslav Kuchuk – .Net Engineer, Spirax Sarco (Kharkiv)

When you ask me to describe myself with just three words, these will be Performance, Transparency, Accuracy. If I didn’t have to earn money by programming, I would do… PROGRAMMING!)))))) The best place in the world for me is my home. And, since I haven’t travelled during the quarantine, for this year, my first plan item is going to the sea.

Roman Dublenych – DevOps Engineer, Plannuh (Lviv)

“Veni, vidi, vici” are the three words that best describe my character. If there was no no need to work to earn money, I’d do what my intuition would suggest. As for my favorite spot, any place in the world feels like home for me. My plan for this year is to get wiser and smarter.

Irene Lyakhova, Recruiting Assistant (Kharkiv)

I’m a sociable, friendly, and energetic person. If I didn’t have to make a living, I would travel around the globe. I think I found my best place place on earth in Marmaris, Turkey. This year, I’d like to try paragliding.

Maxim Ovsiannikov – JavaScript Engineer, Spirax Sarco (Kharkiv)

In my circle of interests I have tennis, travelling, guitars, music, and cars. If I didn’t have to work, I would definitely spend my time in travels. I think the best place in th whole world is Asia. This year I’m planning to participate in a tennis tournament.

Patrick Moran – Intern at Marketing Team, USA

To describe myself with just 3 words: I’m relaxed, open-minded, inquisitive. If I didn’t need to earn money I would live on a farm. I would spend half the day reading and the other half taking a nap. My favorite place in the world would have to be the Big Sur coastline in California. It is one of the last undeveloped places in my state and it is overwhelmingly gorgeous. I am in the process of making a documentary film. I am going to film and edit it myself!
I live in Santa Cruz, California. I graduated in December 2020 as a Public Relations major with a minor in Psychology. I want to jump into the world of copywriting and learn all that I can. I am excited to work with the brilliant minds at Waverley!

Eugene Nezhuta – JavaScript Engineer, Reprise (Kharkiv)

Eugene came back to Waverley as a full-time team member and now works on Reprise. Welcome back!
