QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level QA Engineer to support quality assurance activities for the Expedition platform. The role involves a balanced focus on manual testing, defect triage, and test automation within an agile delivery model. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable collaborating closely with developers and other team members to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Focus Areas

• Validation of new features and enhancements introduced to the Expedition platform
• Regression testing to ensure stability across releases
• Contribution to both manual and automated testing efforts
• Collaboration within a sprint-based engineering team

Technical Requirements

• Experience performing structured manual testing across complex applications
• Familiarity with one or more test automation frameworks and an understanding of automated testing principles (Playwright, Selenium, or others)
  Comfort working in Linux-based environments, including basic command-line and scripting usage
• Experience using issue tracking and version control tools to report, track, and validate defects
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to systematically identify, document, and communicate issues

Nice to have

• Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platforms
• Exposure to performance or load testing concepts and tools
• Familiarity with API testing practices and tools used to validate backend services
• Experience working in environments that combine manual testing with growing automation efforts
