This project involves collaborating with a US university on developing the testing instruments for the next-generation standard for emergency communication that provides new features and improves data exchange between callers and answering centers.
As a Python Engineer, you will join a team developing and implementing an ongoing product. You will be responsible for maintaining robust, scalable solutions while also contributing to the engineering and development of our systems. Your primary focus will be on assuring the quality of the codebase through comprehensive testing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the product, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability
- Dealing with challenges, conducting research to deliver the requested features
- Implement a comprehensive test framework using Python to ensure reliability, stability, and security
- Contribute to the architectural design and planning, leveraging your experience to optimize performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code
- Understanding of multiprocessing and multithreading as well as general software design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Ability to work independently on feature-based tasks
- At least Intermediate English (both written and spoken)
