We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead all quality and compliance activities for the Quality Incident (QI) Module – a standalone micro-frontend being built for a quality incident tracking system.
You will own the validation strategy and author documentation, and ensure that every workflow state transition, audit trail entry, permission model, and migrated data record is systematically verified before production release.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Validation Plan and required documentation.
Define and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to map all test cases back to functional and regulatory requirements.
Design the end-to-end test strategy covering functional, regression, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and data migration testing.
Design and execute test cases for all six QI workflow states and all permitted state transitions, including permission-based access control scenarios.
Validate the ServiceNow-to-Amplify data migration: define acceptance criteria, verify the accuracy of field mappings, and confirm continuity of the audit trail for all ~2,000 migrated records.
Mentor a junior QA engineer: assign tasks, review test cases, and ensure auditing standards are met.
Manage the defect lifecycle in Azure DevOps; produce sprint-level quality reports (defect density, test pass rates, open risks).
Define and monitor sprint exit criteria and overall release readiness criteria.
Support regulatory review and sign-off with the client’s Regulatory Affairs team.
Provide QA insights and inputs as needed.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of QA engineering experience in regulated life sciences or healthcare software.
Experience testing workflow-driven or state-machine applications, with a deep understanding of state transition edge cases.
Experience validating data migration efforts, including source-to-target record-level verification.
Solid knowledge of audit trail testing and electronic record integrity verification.
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools; Azure DevOps experience preferred.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).
Strong communication skills; ability to track and present quality status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
At least Intermediate English proficiency
Nice to have:
Experience with SQL queries for data migration validation (SQL Server preferred).
Familiarity with automated testing and workflow testing.
