Computer Vision for a Legged Robot
RoboPerception is a robotics R&D project focused on customizing the MiniPupper legged robot using a Luxonis camera. With DepthAI ML models from the Luxonis SDK under the hood, the robot is capable of object detection, text recognition, object following, and more features. Connecting the microcomputer with the back end to a React front end, we can stream the video with identified objects to a web interface, which also provides a dashboard to track the state of hardware and control the robot’s movements.
