Waverley Software is looking for DevOps Engineer interested in technologies and automation to perform continuous development and improvement of various cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
Your main goals will be:
design and integrate DevOps culture inside the company and projects
taking part in research and apply of new DevOps technologies and approaches
implement a wide range of process automation: from backups and CI/CD to penetration testing and disaster recovery using a wide range of technologies
accept different engineering challenges from issue troubleshooting to seamless application and infrastructure migrations
Responsibilities:
design, implement and support of projects infrastructure
analyze, implement and automate security controls, governance processes and compliance validation
continuous enhancing and monitoring projects infrastructure
define and deploy monitoring, metrics and logging systems
ensure systems are highly available, scalable and self-healing
design, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes
operate the DevOps process within our security and privacy guidelines
evangelize the DevOps culture in the company
Requirements:
at least 3 years of experience in DevOps
willing to continuously get familiar with a new technologies
operation and administration skills in Linux operating systems
being familiar with Docker or other containerization system
practical experience in DevOps engineering
expertise in AWS
practical experience with SQL/noSQL DBMS management
python and/or bash scripting
understanding of CI/CD process
debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
ability to work autonomous or as part of the highly skilled team
english written and verbal communication skills sufficient for day to day technical communications
Will be a plus:
experience with Kubernetes services like GKE or Amazon EKS
practical Experience with IaaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
expertise in microservices architecture, application containerization and orchestration
understanding of basic principles of Information Security in Clouds
experience with CI/CD tools, like GitLabCI, CircleCI, Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, DroneCI or other.
DevOps Certification on Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
PCI/PHI, HIPAA/COPPA, ISO27001, SOC2 compliances experience and knowledge of the DevOps compliance peculiarities
