Our client is a computer hardware company delivering world-class, precision-engineered data solutions and aiming to maximize humanity’s potential with top-notch hardware products.

We are looking for a talented DevOps/GitOps Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be an expert in automating manual processes and transforming them into robust, automated systems. The primary responsibility in this role is to design, create, and manage GitOps pipelines to ensure our processes are efficient, reliable, and error-free. Therefore, it requires a deep understanding of the DevOps principles and a good familiarity with various tools commonly used in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing manual processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated systems using GitOps principles.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Salt, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Ensure automated systems are triggered with proper review and approval processes to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Document automated processes and provide training to relevant team members as needed.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial software development
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automation.
  • Strong understanding and experience with GitOps principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Salt, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • At least Intermediate English level (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and implementing GitOps pipelines from scratch.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of security best practices in automated deployment processes.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure the health and performance of automated systems.
