About the Client

Our client’s product is a platform that collects and analyzes large volumes of real-time traffic data, produces insights, and creates optimizations across mistyped or NX domains, search engine results pages, syndication, and content suggestions. Using the DNS redirect technique, it helps advertisers match with the users’ intent, buy, and optimize the mistyped domains in a fraction of a second to generate passive monetization.

Waverley Software is looking for an expert in the GoLang programming language to help our client with work on a digital marketing platform.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in commercial software development.
Wide and practical experience using Golang.
Networking experience (specifically net/HTTP).
Basic understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) protocols.
Knowledge of TCP and UDP.
In-hand experience with Terraform.
HTTPS/SSL handling including certificates and SNI.
High-level understanding of the DigitalOcean platform including Droplet projects and AWS.
Great communication skills: ability to self-organize and work as a product-oriented team member; take a proactive position in resolving impediments and defining requirements.
At least Intermediate English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities:

Address support requests and collaborate with the team in designing and implementing new features.
Focus on writing testable code and advocate implementing best practices.
Work on bug fixing and improving product performance and quality.
Communicate directly with the client.
