Waverley Software is looking for a software engineer with practical experience of back-end development and database management to become a part of our development team working on an HRM system. On this project, you’ll collaborate with team members from diverse locations, having to communicate effectively and deliver a high-quality application.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in commercial software development.
Hands-on experience in Python, Java, Ruby, .Net, or other back-end programming language.
Hands-on experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other DBMS.
REST API development experience.
Knowledge of software design patterns and the ability to apply them in the development process.
Solid understanding of and practical experience with AWS services.
Experience with methods and tools such as Git.
At least an intermediate English level, both written and verbal.
Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities:
Take part in the development, integration, and maintenance of separate modules of the web application using Golang.
Ensure the proper deployment of the produced code using AWS.
Collaborate with the team of software engineers, QA, a UX designer, and a PM geographically spread across different locations.
Make sure test coverage and code quality are in line with established guidelines.
