We are seeking a talented, motivated, and proactive QA engineer to join the team. You will be working on both the software and hardware components of storage systems while collaborating closely with the QA team.
Requirements:
At least 1+ of experience in software/hardware testing.
Engineering or engineering-related degree.
Knowledge of electronics and computer hardware, especially storage devices.
Familiar with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and familiar with Powershell/Terminal.
Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI RAID settings and OS-level RAID software as a significant plus.
Knowledge of hardware/software testing principles (ISTQB is an advantage).
Understanding of software protocols is beneficial.
Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation is a plus.
Experience with Jira.
Good skills in analyzing and reporting bugs.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
At least Intermediate English (both spoken and written).
Team-oriented, but able to work independently when needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform software and hardware testing of storage devices.
Conduct functional, stress, performance, and failure recovery tests.
Monitor and analyze SMART data, error logs, and system performance metrics.
Assist in firmware validation and compatibility testing.
Analyze and report bugs, ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Prepare and deliver regular testing status reports.
Participate in meetings with the client and the team to align on requirements and updates.
