We are seeking a talented, motivated, and proactive Manual QA engineer to join the team. You will work on networking storage systems’ software and hardware components while collaborating closely with the QA team.
Requirements:
1+ of experience in testing software
Engineering or engineering-related degree
Previous experience with hardware, system software, or networking
Solid theoretical knowledge of software testing principles
Understanding networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, DNS) and configurations
Hands-on experience with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix)
Experience with creating and maintaining test documentation
Strong skills in analyzing and reporting bugs
Ability to interpret technical specifications and hardware documentation
At least Intermediate English (both spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
Perform software and hardware testing of network storage devices
Develop and execute manual tests for both software and hardware components
Analyze and report bugs, ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Prepare and deliver regular testing status reports
Participate in meetings with the client and the team to align on requirements and updates
