Senior DevOps Engineer

Waverley Software is looking for a DevOps Engineer to bring a diverse background of skills and experiences to the development team and hit the ground running. This position is ideal for an independent self-starter who enjoys building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems.
• Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.
• Ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and self-healing.
• Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
• Operate the platform within security and privacy guidelines.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of DevOps experience.
• Expertise in AWS.
• Experience with the following AWS services: Kinesis, Athena, SNS, SQS, and CloudFormation.
• Practical experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Bash or Python scripting.
• Deep understanding of networking.
• CI/CD process understanding and experience.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be a self-managed team player.
• English and Ukrainian written and verbal communication skills sufficient for day-to-day technical communication.

Will be a plus: 

• AWS Professional certificate.
• Experience with Golang.
